| Flu Shot Committee Flu Shot Draw 💉 | Starting January 5th, 2026, fill out this form letting us know that you have received this year’s flu shot, and you will be entered in a draw to win this basket! This contest will run from January 5th, 2026 until March 1st, 2026 at 11:59pm MST. IMINSA will select three (3) winners of a gift basket via random draw on March 2nd, 2026. An eligible entry will be a response to this poll. Proof of flu vaccination will not be required to enter the contest, but we will be asking to see it for the winner. Proof can be any document that shows the participant’s name, the date and the flu shot, with all other personal information redacted. All U of A staff and students are eligible to be entered. | Sip n Paint Mixer 🎨 Date: Monday, Feb. 23rd, 2026 Time: 5:30pm – 7:00pm | Come join us on Feb 23rd for a relaxing night! This arts and crafts event will be used as a mixer for both mentees and mentors to spend time with one another, while also allowing the general student population to participate and display their creative side! | Career Night ☕︎💻 Date: March 6th 2026 Time: 5:00pm – 7:00 pm | Are you worried about what’s next? Whether it’s a professional program, academia or industry, we might have the answer! Come to IMINSA’s career night to chat with professionals in all of these professions and hear about their different journeys and how they got there! This event is a safe space for you to express interest, ask questions and explore your options! Hear REAL stories from REAL people who have been in your position and get answers to questions you’ve always had! | IMINSA Sticker Fundraiser for Charity Start: Feb 3rd, 2026 – Feb 6th, 2026 in CCIS! | IMINSA will be selling science-themed stickers (among other stickers) in CCIS! 🧪 This is a tabling event that will allow interested students to purchase either stickers, or sticker “mystery packs” composed of random stickers and assembled by the IMINSA executive team. Proceeds go towards YESS Edmonton. Youth Empowerment and Support Services (YESS) is a 24/7 youth support centre for people aged 15-21. They provide a safe place for these underprivileged individuals to stay at while also providing support resources which aid these youth in integrating themselves back into society (whether it be mental, physical or emotional support). | Learn more about YESS: https://yess.org/ |

Our volunteers play a key role in bringing the IMINSA’s initiatives to life! As a general volunteer, you’ll assist the executive team with fundraisers, events, and outreach activities. Whether it’s helping set up, engaging with students, or supporting event logistics, volunteers are essential in creating a welcoming and energetic environment!
This is a great way to get involved, meet new people, and contribute to the Immunology & Infection student community!
