Opportunities to enter paid full-time internships (4–16 months) for Science/​ALES/​St. Jean/​Augustana students. Offers transcript/degree recognition, career prep and helps you make connections in the industry! There are three annual application windows for jobs starting in January, May or September. There are two career centres that students can access, the Career Centre located in SUB and the Science Career Centre in CCIS. They both offer free one-on-one career coaching, resume/interview help, hold events and job fairs, and funding opportunities.

At the University of Alberta, there are many active services to aid students who may be struggling. These include: Wellness Supports, Counselling & Clinical Services, peer support, gender/sexual diversity support, sexual assault counselling, and wellness workshops & online tools for holistic student care. 🩺 University Health Centre (UHC)
All students have access to the UHC located on the 2nd floor of SUB. The UHC delivers comprehensive medical services including general practice, immunizations, and specialized care (e.g., OB/GYN, podiatry) for students and their immediate families. If you have opted in to the SU Health Plan in your tuition, you may receive benefits if requiring certain health services (i.e., prescriptions).

This service offers inclusive academic support, including skill-building workshops, one-on-one appointments, and academic accommodations to help students excel.
📍 Office of the Student Ombuds
This service offers confidential advice and support regarding academic or disciplinary conflicts, appeals, mediation, conflict coaching, restorative conferences, and more.

This service serves as a hub for academic, financial, and administrative inquiries—like transcripts, registration, and awards—offering live chat, a portal, FAQs, and in-person support.
⚽️ Campus Community & Recreation (CCR)
Stay energized, connected, and healthy with the University of Alberta’s CCR! This service offers opportunities for students to join fitness classes, book athletic facilities, take part in cultural or sport-based programs, join recreational drop-in sessions, and special community events.
